The Edmonton Oilers have been trying to shop forward Jesse Puljujarvi for a while now, and his time with the Oilers might be done.
Puljujarvi's jerseys have started to go on sale and are now 25% off, with that being said we think this may be a hint that the 24 year old Sweden native's time is up in a Oilers jersey. He was born in Alvkarleby, Sweden.
We aren't too sure what the Oilers are going to get back for Puljujarvi, but what we are sure of is that he has underperformed for them and hasn't lived up to expectations the Oilers had set for him. In six total years with the Oilers Puljujarvi has suited up for 308 games putting up only 108 points, with 50 of them being goals and 58 of them being assists.
It's quite evident that Puljujarvi's play has been subpar to this point with only have 10 points on the season, and he is only averaging 12:35 of ice time per contest, so a change of scenery might not be the worst thing for the 24 year old as it could give him an opportunity to play top six minutes.
