Oilers GM Ken Holland provides updates on young players contract negotiations
In a recent interview, Edmonton Oilers general manager Ken Holland shared his thoughts on contract negotiations with some of the team's young players.
Holland expressed optimism that Ryan McLeod and Evan Bouchard would reach a one or two-year deal.
However, he acknowledged that discussions with Klim Kostin were currently far apart.
Holland mentioned that Kostin, who possesses arbitration rights, might also be considering offers from the KHL.
These contract talks highlight the complexities involved in securing agreements that satisfy both the team and the players, with factors such as arbitration rights and potential overseas opportunities potentially influencing the outcomes.
