It looks like these two may have played their last game here
It seems that Ken Holland has come to his final decisions regarding the status of two players for the Edmonton Oilers.
The media has been buzzing about Kailer Yamamoto and Klim Kostin this week, with questions surrounding their futures on the team.
As Oilers GM Ken Holland heads into free agency with clear needs, it is obvious beyond a doubt that barring something unforeseen, both Kailer Yamamoto and Klim Kostin have played their last game in an Edmonton uniform.

Unfortunately, Kostin and the team could not reach an agreement on a contract, leaving Kostin with options elsewhere if he can't come to terms with the Oilers. It's unclear where Kostin will end up, whether it be back home in Russia or
elsewhere.
On the other hand, Holland has stated that he is still working on the phones to secure a landing spot for Yamamoto.
With Philadelphia no longer in the market, there may not be many options left for Yamamoto.
If he can't find a place, he may be bought out, although nothing has been confirmed yet. We hope that Yamamato can find a new home before it comes to that, as he showed some promising signs but couldn't fully reach his potential with the Oilers.
While a buyout would make sense for the team, we must wait and see what happens next.
