Oilers star forward addresses injury and 10-minute press conference
As the Edmonton Oilers' training camp kicks off, forward Evander Kane is feeling optimistic about his return to the ice. Kane, who suffered a serious injury last season when he was cut by a skate blade on his wrist, is eager to put the past behind him and made a surprise 10-minute conference to address this.
"Coming into the season, I feel good, I feel healthy, and I'm looking forward to getting our group together and getting into some games," Kane stated during his media interaction on the opening day of Oilers training camp.
Kane's injury was a cause for concern last season, but it seems that he's put in the work during the offseason to ensure he's ready to contribute to the team. Oilers fans will be keeping a close eye on his progress as the season unfolds, hoping to see him back in top form on the ice.
