The power of social media and the Internet has allowed NHL fans to catch a glimpse of how NHL stars spend time with their former teammates or rivals.
During the summer and offseason, many players work out together at the same gyms, while others travel overseas to soak up the sun and enjoy life outside of hockey with their families or on their own.
Recently, this was the case on the island of Ibiza, where Oilers superstar centerman Leon Draisaitl was spotted spending time with former Oilers defenseman Adam Larsson. The two were seen enjoying the sunny weather and warm temperatures at a restaurant.
Larsson, a 30-year-old defenseman, spent five seasons with the Oilers after being traded from New Jersey in exchange for Taylor Hall. Unfortunately, Larsson's time with the Oilers was met with mixed reception, as many believed the trade heavily favoured New Jersey.
Currently, Larsson is a member of the Seattle Kraken and has been playing with the team for the past two seasons.
It's great to witness NHL players taking time to rest and relax, considering the demanding nature of the upcoming NHL season, which will begin in just a month and a half.
