Parents Reach Out After Their Children Suffered Seizures Due to NHL Board Ads
In each NHL venue, digital board advertisements have recently been added to the boards and walls of the rink. The boards may be highly distracting at times from the actual action going on, and to make matters worse, they glitch at least once each minute, which causes eye sores in many people, as shown below.
They can set off seizures and epilepsy, which is far worse than "eye soars."
Recently, CTV News Toronto featured a story of parents reaching out because their kids can no longer watch hockey because they worry it would make them have seizures, or one parent who's child has suffered seizures from it, which are brought on by the board adverts. Below is a link to the segment:
Bettman needs to set the money-making, non-finished idea aside and think about the fans for once.
