In a Western Conference battle the San Jose Sharks faced off against the visiting Calgary Flames the other night in San Jose.
It was a very chippy game between two of the more physical teams in the league, with the Flames up 2-1 mid 2nd, Sharks Jonah Gadjovich and Flames Denis Gilbert would get chipping at each other and would end up dropping the gloves.
Gadjovich would take this one easily pummelling Gilbert who had to leave the game to get some attention. The Sharks might of won the battle but the Flames won the war picking up a big 5-2 win on the road.
Gilbert has now been placed on the Flames' injury reserve.
