Son's Of NHL'ers Both Claimed Off Waivers Today!

Today might be a first in the NHL as today, son's of 2 former NHL'ers were both placed and claimed off waivers. It was reported by Sportsnet's Hockey Insider Elliotte Friedman via his Twitter account.
Today Friedman would reveal after the Buffalo Sabres placed defenceman Casey Fitzgerald, son of former NHL'er Tom Fitzgerald on waivers Tuesday, he was quickly scooped up Today by the Florida Panthers.
Fitzgerald was drafted by the Sabres in the 3rd round 86th over in the 2016 draft. The 25 year-old has played in 23 games this season, and has 3 assists with a -1 rating.
The Vegas Golden Knights placed forward Jake Leschyshyn son of former NHL'er Curtis Leschyshyn was also placed on waivers, then claimed by New York Rangers.
Leschyshyn was drafted by the Golden knights back in the 2017 in the 2nd round 62 overall. In 22 games this season Leschyshyn had no points and a -7 rating.
