The Vegas Golden Knights officially hoisted the Stanley Cup on Tuesday night, and the city of Las Vegas had a very underwhelming reaction.
Usually when a city's team wins a championship the streets are filled with fans, who are still rowdy. But in Las Vegas there was barely anyone in the streets and nobody seemed to care about the Knights winning the Stanley Cup.
Where in Edmonton, after a round 1 playoff game win, streets were packed.
Jack Eichel and the Vegas Golden Knights took the Cup clubbing and the people in the club didn't care for it at all. It just seemed like a regular day for the city of Las Vegas.
The Golden Knights fans in the arena as well didn't seem to care very much, a lot of them may not understand what's truly so great about winning the Stanley Cup.
The Knights fans know their hockey more than you thinkbut they didn't celebrate the Stanley Cup very much.
