The Calgary Flames Organization Receives Tragic News Today
Chris Snow, the Assistant General Manager of the Calgary Flames, is a symbol of inspiration in the hockey world. Despite battling ALS and cancer, he has always carried a contagious smile and a positive attitude.
Today, however, there's a heartbreaking update. Chris Snow became unresponsive and suffered cardiac arrest. Although medical professionals managed to restart his heart, a subsequent scan revealed a catastrophic brain injury caused by oxygen deprivation. Doctors don't expect him to wake up from this.
His wife shared the following statement:
Chris's wife, Kelsie, shared this devastating news on Twitter, leaving the hockey community in shock. Our thoughts are with the Snow Family as they face this unimaginable challenge. Chris's journey has been an inspiration, and his strength continues to resonate, even in the face of adversity.
