The Edmonton Oilers Radio Show is Back on Air!
New Era for Edmonton's Sports Radio
Edmonton's sports radio landscape is in for a fresh start. Following TSN 1260's exit due to Bell Media's cost-cutting measures in June, a new station called Sports 1440 is set to launch on September 5.
In partnership with Stingray Radio, Just A Game Productions, and The Nation Network (parent company of Oilers Nation), Sports 1440 is gearing up to feature local radio favorites like Jason Gregor and Allan Mitchell, known as "Lowetide."
With a mission to provide varied sports commentary, insights, and entertainment to the Edmonton audience, the station aims to tap into the city's strong sports fervor. Jason Gregor expressed his enthusiasm for this new avenue, highlighting the passionate local sports community.
