This is who the Edmonton Oilers want as a top-six forward
There are several UFAs and RFAs on the team who need to be signed soon, but Ken Holland is focused on filling the top lines with skilled players to increase their chances of winning a Stanley Cup.
One player who has been mentioned is
Connor Brown, a tough and versatile forward.
Darren Dreger says on GotYerBack that top 4 defence is their #1 priority and that Connor Brown is who they are most likely looking at as a top six forward replacement
While he struggled with injuries this year in Washington, Brown has proven to be a reliable veteran when he's healthy.
He was even selected for the AHL's All-Rookie Team and won the CHL's top-scorer award in 2013-2014.
Brown's most successful season to date was in 2019-2020 with Ottawa, where he put up 43 points in 71 games.
It's clear that Ken Holland shares the belief that Brown has the potential to bounce back and contribute to the team's success.
