We've seen some very good hockey fights this season, one of my favorites has to be Montreal Canadiens rookie defenceman Arber Xhekaj. He's been a beast for the Canadiens I was surprised he didn't fight last night.
However, with 11 games last night you knew there were going to be some solid tillys.
Well we had two scraps that stood out, the first one was in a match between the New Jersey Devils and the Vegas Golden Knights during the 2nd period of their match-up, Devils Nathan Bastian would throw a big hit. Golden Knights Brett Howden didn't appreciate it and the two would have a very solid scrap.
The second bout was even better, between Minnesota Wild's Jake Middleton and Tampa Bay Lightning's Nick Paul early in the first period right off the face-off, the two combatants would drop the gloves for the fight of the night.
