Canucks fans jeer the Oilers in streets after playoff win

After a brilliant comeback win in the final minutes of game 4, the Vancouver Canucks now have a strangle on the series and look to be headed for the second round.
The Canucks will face the Oilers if they beat the Kings, and Canucks fans seem ready for the challenge. In a fan rally on the streets of Vancouver today, chants of «F**k the Oilers!» were ringing out.
Fortunately for the Oilers, the hockey gods never seem to look too kindly on teams that are too amped up to play a future playoff opponent. Last year in Maple Leafs Square, fans chanted out their willingness to play Florida in the second round, only to get bounced easily in 5 games.
The funniest part of this entire story is Canucks fans inability to actually organize a full fan playoff watch party. Vancouver is the only Canadian city not to host one, and earlier this week, their mayor explained that he simply doesn't trust fans to behave responsibly while referencing their past playoff riots.
As long as the Oilers can take care of business against the Los Angeles Kings, all hockey fans could be treated to a great Canadian rivalry series between the Canucks and Oilers.
