Connor McDavid gets to play 41 games a season in Edmonton in front some of the greatest fans in hockey, but recently he gave love to another Rink on the road.

A number of NHL players were asked to name their favourite arenas to play in on the road, and Connor McDavid named the Montreal Canadiens' Bell Center as his favourite.

»I'll say the Bell Center. You know, the fans in Montreal are really passionate. I love when they get on me, when they boo me, they make it really fun to play there.»
- Connor McDavid

Connor Bedard, Charlie McAvoy, Mackenzie Weegar, Jack Hughes, Sidney Crosby, and more NHL stars all named the Bell Center as the biggest hockey destination in the league.

If you've never been to a game in Montreal, it truly does feel like a different experience. Walking the streets into the arena before puck drop, the tension and excitement of the game is palpable among the fans who treat hockey as a sacred event. During the game, the fans are incredibly informed and engaged, always making noise for even the most minor plays. Along with the history of the building, hockey in Montreal is truly a magical experience for any player or fan.

The Edmonton Oilers have their own incredible experience in their own right. Up in North Alberta, teams enter the building planning how to stop McDavid from filling the net, and often, he's still able to do it while the fans scream their hearts out. Edmonton is another fantastic city to play in the NHL right now, but it may be many players least favourite instead of their favourite - and Oilers fans will be fine with that.
