After Matthew Tkachuk's Panthers beat out his former rival Oilers for the Stanley Cup, he hasn't let the city of Edmonton stop hearing about his victory, and rubbing Oilers fans noses in it.

At today's Stanley Cup Parade in Florida, Matthew Tkachuk took yet another shot at the city of Edmonton. It was raining and cloudy in Fort Lauderdale during their parade, and Tkachuk joked that while the weather may be better, Edmonton didn't win the cup.

Hey, I heard it's 70 degrees and sunny in Edmonton, but they ain't got no Cup!
- Matthew Tkachuk

Tkachuk has always played up to the villain role on and off the ice, and his efforts have been directed specifically against the Oilers for much of his career. When on the ice just after winning the Stanley Cup, Tkachuk shouted out his former Calgary Flames, saying he couldn't let their rival Oilers win the Cup.

The Florida Panthers parade did start out a little sad looking, with a very underwhelming amount of fans 30 minutes into the parade. It was raining, but as soon as the rain cleared, the Panthers did get a pretty impressive showing for their hockey team for South Florida. Even the Panthers team account was playing up towards the criticism of their attendance at the parade.

Tkachuk is playing up to his role as a pest across the league, but it's not exactly winning with class to repeatedly put down the runner-up. Not to mention, when the Edmonton Oilers win the Stanley Cup, their parade will put the Florida Panthers to shame.
