Nick Cousins is struggling to find a team after his embarrassing season on ice.

With most of free agent frenzy being over, there's very slim pickings left in free agency. It's a surprise if serviceable players are still left unsigned, leading to questions of why they haven't been signed. One of these players left unsigned is Nick Cousins, but his reasons aren't very unknown to the league.

Nick cousins is someone who gained league-wide notoriety over the last season, but not for any good reasons. Cousins became known for his on-ice antics, where he would often refuse to answer the bell for his terrible hits.

Cousins is not only hated by NHL fans, but players as well. Cousins is someone who will turtle during any confrontation, which is not respected by any hockey players. Cousins was hilariously voted the player with the most punchable face by fellow NHL players, showing how little respect they have for Cousins.

This easily explains why Cousins has yet to be signed, because players don't want to have to defend him after another terrible hit. Players definitely have a say in which players are acquired, and GMs also look at players like Cousins very negatively. Cousins will be lucky to find a place on a team, and he should pray that it isn't a team that he has wronged in the past.
