NHL arenas get ranked by affordability, Oilers rate below average

Earlier today, Action Network published an interesting ranking of NHL arenas based on affordability for a family of four to attend a game.
The costs to attending a game can add up quickly, especially when purchasing four tickets already. Action Network also included pricing for beers, soft drinks, food, and parking - then ranked each team on their affordability.
The cheapest arena, not surprisingly, was the now-defunct Arizona Coyotes's Mullet Arena. After that, the Florida Panthers, Ottawa Senators, Buffalo Sabres, and Columbus Blue Jackets round out the cheapest five teams. For the Florida Panthers, a group of four could attend a game for only $298.
The most expensive doesn't come as a surprise either. The Toronto Maple Leafs were shown to cost $300 more than any other team for a family of four to attend, for a total price of $970. The Vegas Golden Knights, New York Rangers, Nashville Predators, and Boston Bruins rounded out the most expensive five teams.
The Edmonton Oilers surprisingly rank below average in total cost across the rest of the league, as the 17th most expensive arena. A group of four was estimated to cost $403, about 6.5% below the average cost.
The Oilers are obviously a smaller market team, but have recently ranked as the seventh most valuable franchise in the NHL. Their recent growth has been driven by the incredibly passionate fans showing up for a special team, and ownership has taken the opportunity to increase prices - especially playoff tickets. It's good to see the Oilers are still in the more affordable group, and hopefully they're able to remain there to still allow fans a chance to see the team.
