Corey Perry is back in Edmonton to prepare for the upcoming season, and while taking his son to a wrestling event in town, the Worm himself decided to help out a bit.

One of the wrestlers came out playing the heel, and taunted the crowd by wearing a Florida Panthers jersey. The camera panned to Corey Perry and his son, setting up the hilarious moment for him to enter the fight.

At one point during the event, Corey Perry held down one of the wrestlers wearing the Panthers jersey, for his opponent to knock him down.

The entire bit was fantastic and must've really amped up the crowd for the event in Edmonton. Of course, Corey Perry himself has been a heel in the NHL for many years being a pest his opponents. Seeing him in the more theatrical side of it his pretty hilarious, and must've made a great moment for Perry and his young son.

Now 39 years old, Perry may be heading into the final season of his NHL career. He's played 1311 career games with six different teams, but only once won the Stanley Cup in his sophomore season. It'd be great to see a veteran like Perry win one more Cup this year after spending the last few years really chasing it. Perry's got a fantastic chance with the group in Edmonton, and they'll have a room for him to play the pest all season.
