The Panthers are selling tickets inside the arena for fans to watch the away game on the jumbotron, but ticket prices for the Cup Final have quadrupled - and fans aren't paying up.
It's a steep increase in price of admittance, especially just to watch the game on a big TV inside the rink. The Upper Bowl realistically gets a better view of the jumbotron, but somehow the lower level ticket prices skyrocketed. At the same time, the price may be worth it to be in the building to watch the Panthers if they win the Cup, but every fan has a link to the price they'll pay.
Oilers fans have seen a steep increase in ticket prices as well, both for inside during games and for playoff watch parties. The fact of the matter is both teams are also businesses, looking to capitalize on this long playoff run and having the attention of the entire NHL. Both fanbases can only hope they're shelling out to see a winning team.
In just a few hours, a critical Game 6 will kick off that could see the Panthers lift the cup in Edmonton, or the Oilers force a Game 7 and carry all the momentum back to Florida. All eyes across the sports world are on Connor McDavid's Oilers to make a miracle comeback in the Finals, and they'll get to continue that battle tonight on home ice.

Maybe quadrupling the price wasn't such a great idea
