P.K. Subban has long been a polarizing figure in hockey, both as a player and now in the media. Earlier today, PK was under more heat for a weird and inappropriate comment he made on the air.

»I was gonna say, I'm not a carpenter, but I carry around a hammer.»
- P.K. Subban

It was a bizarre and cringe inducing comment from Subban on the hockey broadcast, and not at all appropriate for a hockey broadcast. P.K. was aware he was on air, and still came out with this gross comment. Plenty of fans took to social media to express how stupid Subban's comment was.

Surely the executives at ESPN, and perhaps even his colleague in Mark Messier, might not look fondly on this inappropriate comment. Subban signed a three year media deal with ESPN in 2022, so the company will have to make a decision with him soon.

The 34 year old former NHLer played 834 from 2009-2022, with the Montreal Canadiens, Nashville Predators, and New Jersey Devils.
