During the second round of the NHL playoffs game between the Vegas Golden Knights and Edmonton Oilers, an unfortunate event occurred in the first period.
Laurent Brossoit had to be escorted off the ice due to an injury, and Adin Hill had to take his place.
The extent of Brossoit's injury appears severe, the situation doesn't seem promising.
It's worth noting that Brossoit had previously been out of the game for almost two years due to hip and abdominal surgeries. The Golden Knights' starting goaltender, Logan Thompson, is also deemed out for the year.
