Edmonton Oilers gain a massive advantage for tonight's game
Tonight, the Edmonton Oilers will face off against the always-feared Tampa Bay Lightning. Despite getting off to a tough start this season, Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy is returning from injury, and the team always has the elite talent to take over a game.
However, news broke moments ago that may make things a little easier for the Edmonton Oilers to secure a victory tonight. According to multiple sources, the Tampa Bay Lightning will be without their top defenceman, Victor Hedman.
Without the Norris-caliber beast on the Lightning's blueline, the Oilers' lethal offence could take over tonight's game. Now, the last line of defence in Andrei Vasilevskiy will be the biggest obstacle to overcome for Edmonton tonight.
Going for their ninth straight win for only the second time in franchise history tonight at home, the Oilers seem poised to jump on the Lightning tonight, especially while missing Victor Hedman.
