Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl are currently experiencing their worst start as teammates in their NHL careers. While their production levels have been exceptional in recent years, this season is proving to be an exception.
Even though McDavid has played 15 games, scoring six goals and nine assists for a total of 15 points, it is evident that the expected numbers are not being met.
Following the game, McDavid shared his thoughts, which he feels have become a broken record in his mind:
With each passing game, McDavid looks more exasperated when facing the media as he has stated several times what needs to be done but isn't changing.
