For this year's NHL All-Star Game, the NHL selected one player from each team to attend, then will be selecting the top 8 players from an online fan vote to attend as well. Of course, the NHL selected Connor McDavid to represent the Oilers, but now a few all-star worthy Oilers need to sneak their way in, or may get snubbed entirely.

Leon Draisaitl is in third place for the fan vote and seems like a lock to attend the All-Star Game from that nomination, but Zach Hyman and Evan Bouchard, both of whom are having all-star deserving seasons, are far out from qualifying.

Bouchard is already surpassing his season point totals with an incredible 39 points in 36 games, and Hyman is on pace to score over 50 goals. If the all-star game attendees were based on merit alone, both of these players would be locks to attend.

The fan vote ends this Thursday, so if you want to get Hyman and Bouchard to the All-Star Game, take part in the social media votes by reposting the nomination hashtags.
