This team is amazing, fighting back from a 3-2 series deficit and eliminating the Canucks in Vancouver. It really was a full team effort, as mostly everyone chipped in this game and produced some kind of value. This whole series has been so close, despite the Oilers leading in most of the important stats.

The Oilers definitely have Bouchard, McDavid and Draisaitl to thank as they creep one series closer to the end. Despite not recording a point, you can feel McDavid's impact as a captain on every player on the team.

McDavid really is the heart of the team, being a leader on and off the ice. The team runs through him both when playing hockey and when looking towards a leader. After last night's win he had an interview where his voice was shot, likely due to talking with all his teammates during the game and trying to give them advice.

This team really showed they have what it takes to take on a structured team with a very strong goalie performance. Although this win is great, the series against Dallas is going to be so much scarier than this one. Dallas has been one of the best teams in hockey, and has the crazy depth that the Oilers are always chastised for lacking. They have two more tough series ahead of them, but they've shown that they have what it takes to battle with the best.
