Darnell Nurse shows troubling lack of accountability with interview answer

Darnell Nurse is an obvious problem within the Oilers' system, as he not only is a liability on the ice but also one that takes up 9.25M. Darnell Nurse has not only been awful on the ice, but also has a terrible attitude. That is exemplified with his terrible attitude towards the game and his lack of accountability.

This quote is absolutely disgusting and shows the true nature of Nurse's lack of awareness. It's unreal to see Nurse try to deflect the blame away from himself and try to blame a terrible run of defense as just being normal in hockey.

This is especially true when considering that Nurse has been the one most responsible for the Oilers' goals against, as he has been absolutely awful in every aspect this postseason. Everyone knew how terrible the Nurse contract was, but no one knew exactly how bad it could be when he's taking up money to find responsible defensemen to take time up for Nurse.

Nurse has been far and away the worst player on any team this playoffs and the Oilers are going to have to try to shelter him going forward. The Oilers are going to have to heavily rely on guys like Bouchard and Ekholm if they want to be successful in this postseason.
