Positive fan stories are always some of the best to watch, and this guy made sure to give a young fan had the best live game experience.
Despite game 7 being in Vancouver, there were still a lot of Oilers fans in the crowd who were representing the team well. One of these fans was Captain Jack on X, who brought a very heartwarming story about an interaction with a young fan at the game.
There was a kid at the game in Vancouver with his parents and he was cheering for the Oilers, despite being surrounded by Canucks fans. His parents also seemed very worried that the other fans were going to be rude to him. When the Oilers won, Captain Jack's nephew gave the kid his McDavid jersey because the kid wasn't wearing any Oilers merch and was clearly a passionate fan.

The hockey community is such a close community, where people are always willing to help each other out when they're on the same team. Sometimes there's fighting between fan bases of different teams, but for the most part everyone has a personal story of something positive that happened to them within the hockey community. This is one story that that kid will remember for the rest of his life, and hopefully pay it forward when he's older.
