It was all in good fun, as Spector opened by noting that the long flights to Florida and Edmonton are wearing on older reporters, and Leon quipped back saying he doesn't care.
Draisaitl even seemed to put a little extra inflection on the you', really driving home that it was a bit personal towards Spector. Still, it was all in good fun and both Draisaitl and Spector ended up laughing - It was nothing like the pissy' incident.
With just one more win, this Oilers team will be immortalized not only in Edmonton, but across all sports for a legendary comeback. To even force a Game 7 is impressive enough, but now all momentum is on the side of the Oilers, and they look unstoppable. Every time the Oilers won four or more straight games this season, it came right after losing three in a row. Now, they're close to completing the trend in the Cup Final.
With the series shifting back to Florida for Game 7, all the pressure is on the Panthers not to choke the Stanley Cup away in unprecedented fashion. In the final moments of the game, the Panthers bench looked like they're starting to seriously doubt their ability to win. Monday night's Game 7 will now become one of the most anticipated games in modern NHL history.
