The Edmonton Oilers will host the St. Louis Blues tomorrow night for the first time this season, and Oilers fans are jacked up for the return of Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway.

Broberg and Holloway left the Oilers this offseason after signing rare offer sheets with the St. Louis Blues.

Oilers fans online are divided as to the reception they'll be giving Broberg and Holloway in a few ways. One Oilers fan is currently running a poll to determine how to react, with over 50% voting to bring out the boo birds.

Oilers Fans Planning to Boo Philip Broberg, Maybe Dylan Holloway

Some fans want to boo them, others don't. Some fans want to boo only Broberg, and cheer for Dylan Holloway.

It makes sense that fans would want to boo the players for leaving the team via the offer sheet, given that it's so rare and they put the Oilers in a difficult position to lose quality young players - but it was always the organization's fault that they left.

That said, Philip Broberg's agent was the one who requested a trade and looped Dylan Holloway into the double offer sheet. For that reason, it's understandable Oilers fans would want to boo Broberg.

The former Oilers defenceman even recently confirmed that playing time and player development in Edmonton was a reason he was ready to move on.

On the other hand, Holloway was more visibly upset about leaving his teammates in Edmonton.

It'd be very on-brand for the ultra educated Oilers fans to boo specifically one player of the two, and it sounds like it may be the most likely outcome. Many fans took to social media to plan out just that.

We'll see what happens tomorrow night, but Oilers fans will have to get used to seeing Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway succeed for a long time. They're great young players with long careers ahead of them.
