Several weeks ago, Hyman along with his father and the rest of his family became the new ownership group of the Bradford Bulldogs after the sale was completed with current Ottawa Senators owner Michael Andlauer.
Rumors had been circulating around the Bulldogs that a potential sale was on the horizon and there was also thoughts that the Belleville senators would be moving to Hamilton which was all denied by Andlauer.
Hyman had a chance to skate with his new team as president and will face a new challenge along with playing in NHL career with the Edmonton Oilers.
The life of Zach Hyman has continued to evolve in front of our eyes over the past several years after signing a seven-year deal with the Edmonton Oilers after spending several years with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
During that time he had a breakout year last year in terms of points an overall play he also is an author of children's books where he had another book published.
Now he's the owner of an OHL hockey team and it remains to be seen on how his role will play out as he remains an NHL player which will likely fall in the hands of his father and his family.
But it's safe to say, after his career is over it's likely he will remain with the Bulldogs and help build the hockey brand in Southern Ontario.
