Matt Rempe of the New York Rangers is one of the most feared enforcers in the NHL now, and today he returned to his home province of Alberta to teach his dying craft.

The Calgary-born Rempe returned home today and was recorded teaching a boxing club how to properly fight while on the ice.

Surprisingly, Rempe actually found a fair sized matchup among the boxing club, but they didn't go too hard while he was only trying to teach techniques.

Rempe has shockingly only played 17 NHL games, and is already a popular name with hockey fans. At 22 years old Rempe has dedicated himself to being a real enforcer in the NHL, a role that's pretty much been eliminated with the rise of skill players. When the 6'7, 241 pound Rempe hops over the boards, there's surely going to be rough stuff. So far, Rempe averages more than 4 penalty minutes per game played.

Honestly, it's good to see Rempe bring back the physical fear factor that comes with the NHL. The insane skill is always incredible to see, but the NHL was the only professional sports league that allows fighting, and Rempe clearly intends to bring that back into the equation. He definitely won't be selected for a shootout, but Rempe has earned the respect of his teammates, and the fear of his opponents.
