Moments ago in today's game between the Predators and Red Wings, two star players in Moritz Seider and Filip Forsberg dropped the gloves in a fight.
It's incredibly rare nowadays to see two skilled players square off in a fight, and this one didn't disappoint. Forsberg didn't do much, but the young defenceman Seider was absolutely filling him in. Switching between both right hand and lefts, throwing in some uppercuts too, Seider owned Forsberg in this fight.
It's a bit of a tough look to get rocked when it's a player who doesn't fight often, but Forsberg doesn't need to worry about that - he's only here to score goals. On the other hand, this is a huge feather in Seider's cap, he'll add some physicality to his reputation for this fight.
It's always awesome to see star skilled players break the norm at go at each other with the fists. As the playoffs get nearer and the games become more competitive and emotional, the physicality will pick up too. Get ready hockey fans!
