In a wild scene during today's Bakersfield Condors game, Condors coach Colin Chaulk was irate on the bench, and seemed to challenge the opposing coach to a fight.

In the final minutes in a clean win for the Condors, the on-ice antics began to pick up, and the coaches chimed in. Chaulk was talking a big game from behind the bench, but his opposing coach was former Oilers enforcer Zach Stortini. With over 700 penalty minutes in 257 games, Stortini hilariously didn't back down at all from the fight offer. Stortini accepted the fight and asked Chaulk to come over, who changed his mind by that point.

The incident led some fans to bring up the best of Stortini's fights in the NHL, including this awesome spirited bought with the now mega-famous Paul Bissonnette. Stortini could clearly hold his own with the best fighters in the league.

It's a hilarious sight to see from Chaulk, who's clearly passionate and invested in the Condors success, but maybe unwilling to put up with Stortini nowadays. With the Oilers trade deadline additions pushing down some players like Dylan Holloway and Sam Gagner, the Condors are shaping up nicely to make a long run in the AHL playoffs themselves, just like the Oilers in the NHL.
