In a stunning development, Sportsnet reporter Jason Gregor has revealed that an Edmonton Oilers forward is likely done for the entire Round 1 playoff series against the Los Angeles Kings.

According to Gregor, a source has informed him that Mattias Janmark is the player in question and is expected to miss the series at the very least.

Janmark has been a vital cog in the Oilers' penalty kill this season and losing him will undoubtedly be a huge blow to the team's chances of advancing in the playoffs. He sustained the injury while doing what he does best blocking a shot and was seen limping after the game.

The Oilers will now have to regroup and find a way to cope without Janmark's defensive prowess. It remains to be seen who will step up in his absence, but the team will have to come together and rally around each other if they hope to overcome this setback and emerge victorious against the Kings.
