Big Surprise for Connor McDavid
At the NHL Awards ceremony last night, Connor McDavid was honored with his third Hart Trophy.
He surpassed Matthew Tkachuk and David Pastrnak to claim the Trophy, adding yet another prestigious award to his already impressive list of accomplishments.
Connor McDavid wins his third Hart Trophy and is surprised by the Stelter family. 💙🧡
However, something poignant occurred when McDavid received the trophy. Earlier this year in 2022, he lost his dear friend and ardent supporter, Ben Stelter, to cancer. This loss undoubtedly left McDavid feeling a deep sense of sadness.
The ceremony became an emotionally charged event for the talented center, highlighting his genuine concern for the fans in Edmonton. It is heartening to witness such a compassionate and empathetic side of a celebrated athlete.
