Cameras Catch Alex Ovechkin Heartbroken on Bench After His Teammate Leaves The Game
The most important member of the Washington Capitals' blue line is defenseman John Carlson, who was seriously wounded by a puck and lost a lot of blood. Alex Ovechkin immediately approached him to assist him, as any good teammate would, as shown in the image below:
Carlson was transported to the hospital right away, and it looks that he has face fractures. According to the capitals, he will be out indefinitely until further notice.
Alexander Ovechkin was seen doing something extraordinary on the bench after Carlson got the severe injury, which shows that the game is a brotherhood.
Alex Ovechkin bent over and appeared to say a prayer for John Carlson on the bench after his longtime teammate got hit in the head by a slap shot. Carlson immediately went down to the locker room and was bleeding profusely.
This is truly a class act, Ovechkin and all other hockey players are truly family in some ways.
