Rick Tocchet was just appointed head coach of the Vancouver Canucks to replace Bruce Boudreau, but the fans dislike him already, aside from the reasoning of replacing Bruce Boudreau.

Fans inVancouver are now concerned due to their new head coachesprior arrests and charges. For taking part in an illegal gambling operation and attempting to cross the border with a significant sum of money, he was arrested and found guilty in 2007 and 2013.

For the record, Rick Tocchet was arrested and guilty for his role in an illegal gambling ring in 2007. He was arrested and guilty again in 2011 of making a false declaration while taking more than $18k in cash across a border.

This has unsurprisingly sparked worry from some fans, who were already unexcited about the new bench boss.

There had to be other candidates, right?

As if Tocchet wasn't already despised by Vancouver Canucks fans? He will need to drastically change this group if he hopes to get anyone's respect, and at this time that appears practically impossible.
