Connor Bedard becomes youngest player in history to reach this milestone
Earlier tonight, the NHL named their starting 32 players for the upcoming All-Star game in Toronto, selecting one player from each team. From the Chicago Blackhawks, the league selected the young phenom Connor Bedard.
With this selection, Bedard has become the youngest player in NHL history to reach the All-Star Game at just 18 years old.
It's an incredible achievement for Bedard, and a fitting selection as he's having a fantastic year on a desolate Blackhawks team. In 37 games this year, Bedard has scored 15 goals and 33 points, with a -20 rating. With a few years development and a better team surrounding him, Bedard is looking like the franchise talent that everyone projected he would become.
