However, this season saw a significant drop as he slipped to the ninth spot, McDavid has only been in the top 5 of jersey sales 3 times in his career.
Meanwhile, Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin continued their stronghold on the top two spots, a position they have held since their debut in 2005, consistently dominating the sales for 18 years.
It's possible that if McDavid wins a cup, he may well join the ranks of the top-selling players, but for now, he remains just below Patrice Bergeron.
