Former Oilers forward finally settling in with his new team.
To say that former Oilers forward Jesse Pujujarvi did not have a fun time in the Oilers' organization is an understatement. Whether it was the Oilers' development of the player or Jesse himself not coming through for the Oilers remains the debate that will be talked about for years to come.
It has taken him some time to adjust to his new team, the Carolina Hurricanes, which now appears to be better as he was discussing with Hannah Rates Yates on Bally Sports about how he feels now being with the Hurricanes.
Tonight's game was his first point as the Carolina Hurricane, which took 11 games to obtain. The team hopes that he can figure out his game and maybe help the team move forward in the playoffs.
That is a lot to ask of a player that has had such a hard time over the last couple of years and I feel it will take some time if not ever but he will recover his game.
The Oilers will be on the road and will be playing the Los Angeles Kings. Game time will be at 10:30 PM eastern on March 4th.
