NHL Head Coach Sipping on a Bud Light Mid Game?
In his first year with the Flyers, which was in the 2009-2010 season, the team went to its first Stanley Cup Finals in years, where they'd regrettably lose to the Chicago Blackhawks. Laviolette had a great coaching career in Philly and with many other NHL teams.
Since then, Laviolette has coached elsewhere for eight years, and with the exception of one year, each year his team has advanced to the playoffs. He has spent the last three seasons with the Washington Capitals and has already made the playoffs twice. Now in his third season, he hopes to have more postseason success.
Just a few days ago, he was seen on TV, which started a trend on social media. Fans believed the coach was downing a Bud Light on the bench, but it was actually a fan, and the photo was well timed!
