NHL makes tough decision to cancel game tonight
Moments ago, the NHL released a statement announcing their decision to postpone tonight's game between the Chicago Blackhawks and Buffalo Sabres.
The decision comes in response to extreme snowfall in Buffalo, though it didn't stop the recent Buffalo Bills NFL game. Still, more so than the conditions, it seems the decision comes from the growing backlog of travel restrictions.
The cancellation of the game tonight will now move the Panthers vs. Red Wings game to the national broadcast tonight in the USA, and the Sabres and Hawks game will be played tomorrow night at 7pm.
