The Edmonton Oilers and Los Angeles Kings began their playoff series Monday night. And Thing got heated before the game with Doughty's comments.
Except Doughty would eat his own words as he said "they were not going to take any stupid penalties." Then gets a penalty for hooking Connor McDavid.
The Oilers would make them pay when Evan Bouchard would snipe one up stairs to give the Oilers a 2-0 lead while Doughty was in the box.
Sadly, the refs sided with the Kings and the Oilers lost in overtime.
