The Edmonton Oilers played their, and it's very important for a select few of players who are currently competing for roster spots.
The following players are competing for roster spots:
Janmark has the biggest advantage out of the four of them due to being a full-time rostered players last season, but endured an injury, however, that doesn't make him safe at the slightest.
Philip Broberg is projected to get last the spot. Broberg was the 8th overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft. He's already 22, and time is ticking on his development stages. He had a good season in the AHL last year, tallying 4 points in 7 games when he did play down in Bakersfield.
