The Edmonton Oilers Have A Big Announcement Coming This Thursday
During the NHL Heritage Classic, which is scheduled for October 29th, 2023, the Battle of Alberta will also be featured as one of the outdoor games on the schedule.
It is expected to be an exciting game, as the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames will engage in a battle that will provide us with the kind of entertainment that only a rivalry of this level could provide.
The Oilers will reveal their Heritage Classic jersey on Tuesday
In regards to the Heritage Classic, the team will reveal something huge on Thursday regarding the event.
In the coming days, they will be revealing the jerseys they will be wearing during the battle on the ice.
There have been reports that the Oilers will wear jerseys with a red, white and blue color scheme that are inspired by the Edmonton Mercurys. In 1949, the Mercurys were formed and played in various countries globally during which time they won a Gold Medal in Oslo in 1952, as well as the World Ice Hockey Championships in 1950.
In the meantime, we'll just have to be patient until then!
