The Edmonton Oilers Recent Statistics Are Upsetting Coyotes Fans
The Edmonton Oilers are an offensive powerhouse this season, continuing the trend of being 1st in the NHL in the goals-for category with 279.
They also have a leading goal scorer in Leon Draisaitl, but it's not even-strength goals in this category.
Leon Draisaitl is an elite offensive player, this is not news to anyone, but this season, he is alone in the amount of power-play goals he's put up this season.
Draisaitl has put up 27 power-play goals in 69 games, 1st in the NHL again as not only is he a 106-point player, with 13 games left in the season, but he is a contributor everywhere on the ice.
What is astounding is that the Arizona Coyotes, whom the Oilers will be playing tonight combined have 24 power-play goals.
This stat for Draisaitl shouldn't be surprising if you've been watching the games, as the Oilers have the top power-play percentage in the NHL at 31.1%.
