Edmonton Oilers Head Coach Jay Woodcroft has changed the lineup to revitalize the team's offensive firepower.

Jay Woodcroft announced that he was trying to find a way to rekindle the offense that had been lacking in the first two games.

Leon Draisaitl will be paired with Connor McDavid and Evander Kane as a result. When the two are combined, the percentage goals for the team increase exponentially.

This might explain why he has moved Warren Foegele from the third line to the second, with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins as well, as he will also be playing with RNH and Zach Hyman tonight.

To build chemistry and a meaningful third line to generate offense, Connor Brown has been moved downward to the 3rd line to play with Ryan McLeod and Dylan Holloway.

Among the Oilers' top pairings are Mattias Ekholm and Evan Bouchard, while Darnell Nurse and Cody Ceci are paired again. Philip Broberg will get a look on the right side with Brett Kulak tonight, as Vincent Desharnais is the team's 7th defenseman.
