Things were heated to say the least between the Edmonton Oilers and Detroit Red Wings during last nights game, thankfully the All-Star break is now over, and we can get back to real hockey as it's been truly missed by many.

Last nights game between the Red Wings and visiting Oilers truly felt like a playoff game, giving Oilers fans goosebumps as we are just a few months away from the playoffs. But it seemed as if two Edmonton Oilers players were targeted continuously, which was forward Evander Kane and defensemen Brett Kulak, who got his head slammed to the ice in a very illegal manner.

Firstly, take a look at the incident and you be the judge:

Head contact was purposely made from the beggining when Detroit Red Wings forward Robby Fabbri decided to take Kulak down, but did so with proving force to Kulak's head, which was seen slamming off the ice quite hard.

Hopefully the NHL Player safety makes the right call, because the referees surely didn't! He sent both of them to the box..
