It was confirmed yesterday I former Vancouver Canucks goaltender Eddie lack that a rift has formed between Canucks forwards JT Miller and Elias Pettersson.

Lack has pointed out what many have been observing over the past couple of games since the return of Miller that Pettersson is not enjoying himself and that his game has suffered because of it.

Miller Is well known throughout the NHL to bring a certain energy to their locker room and at times very aggressive towards certain players who are not living up to his standards.

Fans on the X platform have tweeted out their observations and have noticed the same things especially with Pettersson game going to 0 points since Miller's return.

It was announced several weeks ago that Miller was going to step away from the game of hockey as he was going through some issues which led to rampant trade speculation across the NHL.

Some rumors were even suggesting that he was going to return to the Big Apple and play for the New York Rangers as the Rangers have been spiralling for the past couple of weeks and may need a major change.

These rumors were squashed quickly by President Jim Rutherford and general manager Patrik Alvin who reassured Canucks fans that Miller was not going anywhere as he is in his second year of his seven-year deal.

It's clear that the divide is growing within the locker room as it's appearing more and more from fans and from reporters.

Allvin and head coach Rick Tocchet will need to figure out how to resolve these problems as it's clear it's becoming bigger best team has gone 2-4-0 in its last 6 games. Something has to give in Vancouver and it's going to be something soon.
